About our Policy 

Please note that when using our web site (https://www.driviantasks.com) or our products you are accepting the practices described in the Privacy Policy (https://www.driviantasks.com/privacypolicy) and in the Terms of Service (https://www.driviantasks.com/termsofservice) available at that time, since both documents can be modified from time to time.

 

Services provided 

The DrivianTasks.com web site and the Mobile Application (Android and iOS) together form the DrivianTasks product. The Services provided by this product allow companies (the subscribers of our Services) to plan tasks and monitor field operations, and also to locate employees and perform business analysis over historical and real-time business data. The Services use information generated by business managers and employees, as well as other content and information resources, as defined below. 

Information we use

Personal Data 

The Services use personal data relating to company employees. Business managers contracting with us the usage of the Services are solely responsible for the introduction, modification and deletion of such personal data. Company management is also responsible for creating accounts in the Services with the administrative access rights, and only such accounts have access to personal data of company employees. After the contracting of the Services has expired, such Personal Data is no longer accessible to the users of the Services and is no longer used by us for any purpose. 

Data on driving activities 

Company employees using the Services can voluntarily choose to provide information about their driving activities. This includes data collected from the sensing devices (GPS, Magnetometer, Accelerometer and Gyroscope) available on the smartphone using the DrivianTasks mobile application. The Services use this information to: a) detect driving events such as “hard turns”, “hard breaking” and “strong acceleration”; and also to b) classify the driving style in terms of economy and safety; and finally to c) save routes and trips location data. 

Data on localization and tasks 

Company employees using the Services can voluntarily choose to provide information about their location and driving activities. This information allows to locate employees and also to track their routes. The Services also use information relating to tasks, for the purpose of planning and field operations. Companies contracting with us the usage of the Services are the sole responsible for the introduction, modification and deletion of information relating to tasks. After such companies have cancelled the usage of the Services, the information related to tasks are no longer accessible and are not used for any purpose by us. Please also note that, using the mobile application, the user of the Services (the employee performing tasks) may opt for not sharing its current location nor recording its routes. 

Photos, Videos, Audio Files, Texts and other contents 

Company employees using the Services can voluntarily choose to provide photos, videos, audio files, texts and other contents through the Services. We may correlate temporal and spatial (location) information and other metadata with these files. 

Cookies 

We may use cookies to improve the user experience of the Services. Cookies may be used to control access to different web pages without requiring you to enter your access credentials after logging in.

Other Information 

We may collect non-identifiable information about your use of the Services. This information will be used to improve the quality of the Services provided by, for example, re-dimensioning our infrastructure to automatically adjust to an increasing number of users of the Services. This information cannot be used to specifically identify users of the Services and no Personal Data is involved in the process. We may store such information ourselves, or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by our service providers. 

Storing and use of information 

Users contracting with us the usage of the Services consent in providing information, Personal Data, Data on Driving Activities, digital files and other content, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We may store such information ourselves or it may be included in databases owned and maintained by our service providers.

General use of data for providing the Services 

We may use Personal Data and other information in connection with the motive for which it was provided. We may also use Personal Data for communicating with users of the Services by e-mail. 

Data Analytics 

We may perform data analysis on the Personal Data and other information provided to us by the users of the Services. This data will be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis without specifically identifying any user. We may also disclose the results of these studies in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes. 

Communications 

We may communicate with users of the Services through email and notices posted via the Services. Communications will include information on: a) procedures for activating an account; b) features of the Services; c) payments for subscription of the Services; d) assuring the proper functioning of your account; e) promotional information (if applicable);

There are two circumstances in which we may share Personal Data related to companies subscribing our Services with certain third parties, as set forth below: 

  1. Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event relating to all or a portion of our business or assets, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets. 
  2. Legal Requirements: We may also disclose Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: 
    1. Comply with a legal obligation. 
    2. Protect and defend our rights or property. 
    3. Act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public.

We take reasonable steps to protect the Personal Data provided by the users but, nonetheless, users should use caution when deciding which information to publish on the Services, since no Internet transmission is ever fully secure or error free. Users should also keep Personal Data updated to ensure its correctness. Access to Personal Data is restricted to our employees and contractors that need such data to perform their activities. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline if they fail to meet those obligations.

Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you provide any Personal Data from you or from employees of the company.
